Decorated for holiday feasts, these heartwarming plates from Portmeirion’s A Christmas Story line are sure to be favorites at your festivities. The pattern was created by artist Susan Winget with cheerfully bright glazing, highly detailed illustrations, and verses from the Clement C. Moore poem "’Twas the Night Before Christmas." A border of holly and a dark red rim complete the festive effect. Series 3 in the pattern, this set features these verses around the plates’ borders:
"Away to the window I flew like a flash/Tore open the shutter, and threw up the sash"
"He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf/And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself"
